Font Research
Masthead
Impact
This font is simple therefore easier to read it is also bold and makes a statement that follows the genres style so can be easily identified to the audience what the magazine could in tale. The font is also similar to existing indie rock magazines such as NME for example:

Another effective text for the masthead would be:
Abadi MT Condensed Extra Bold
My final option for masthead text would be:
Microsoft Tai Le
The reason behind this font choice similary to the others this that is is simple and easy to read and it is similar or the same as this genre of magazine uses.
Main body text
Avenir Next Medium
This font would work well for the main body text it is simple and easy to read even in a small size. Its doesn't clash with the other fonts I have chosen so wouldn't look out of place with the headings or mast head.
Another choice for the main body text would be:
Microsoft Yi Baiti
My final option is:
Bookman Old Style
Another choice for the main body text would be:
Microsoft Yi Baiti
Browallia New
This again a simple text so easy to read as the main body text is usually quite small.so it cant be too complicated to read otherwise the reader will lose interest. My final option is:
Bookman Old Style
Headings
My first choice of font is:
Another choice based on research, for the heading could be:
Poplar Std
this is bold and stand out amoung othe texts used on the magazine.
My third effective choice is: Impact
This is bold and would make the heading different from the rest of the font. It could also match the heading so the text style doesn't change too much giving an unprofessional look to the magazine.
The last chosen fort for headings is:
Bookman Old Style
Most if not all of the text in this genre of magazine is simple this is so the reader can clearly see what is being written however this id also to show the simple nature of the artists and to have a bright bold impact.
