My research into various indie rock magazine such as spin, Q and NME ,has show many similarities and contrast between magazine of the same genre. There are many very important elements of magazines that can make it widely more appeling to the targeted audience. Colour being one the most influencial aspects,because of it ability to attract an audience from far away or among a selection. Within indie rock magazines little selection of colour is used with only colours such as red black and white with occasionally the addition of a brighter colour to compliment and go with the others. This is also to keep a house style which allows the magazine to look professional through out. This look good to a reader.
